Don't get me wrong, I'm not at the point in my life where I could claim to be a photojournalist but I do enjoy getting the opportunity to write and have been encouraged by some of the guys I shoot for to start doing more. Here's a handful of articles I've written for Kiwi Rider...

WSBK 2020 Round 1 at Phillip Island gave us the kind of close, no-halds barred racing we'd been craving from the series for years. It's a real shame that corvid19 messed up WSBK20 but I consider myself hugely fortunate to have seen an epic round of racing from the infield.

You can find my photos and words from that weekend here

Around Easter 2019, Sarah and I spent a week in Malaysia on hire bikes. We had a great time and that little adventure appeared in Kiwi Rider a few months later.

You can find that story here.

Same story with different photos appeared in the March 2020 issue of Australian Motorcyclist Magazine.

Another year, another Round of WSBK at Phillip Island, just photos and captions for this one but a decent sized spread in Kiwi Rider again.

After the 2018 Phillip Island round of WSBK, I wrote a piece about what it was like to shoot one of the biggest bike race series, second only to MotoGP. I was pretty pleased how it turned out and editor Ben Wilkins didn't have to hack the crap out of it to make it readable either. The article is illustrated by some of the photos I took whilst on the job there.

Back in November 2017, Sarah and I were lucky enough to spend some time in New Caledonia and whilst we were there, we took time out to ride a fair chunk of the island, which is 500km long so a bit bigger than your average tropical island, on a Triumph Street Triple R.

When we got back to Sydney, we put together a bit of a travelogue and Ben polished it up and took it to print.
