I'm a Sydney-based photographer who started getting serious when digital really started to take over from film. My first serious DSLR was a Nikon D200 and for the first few years, my main subjects were the odd end of the animal kingdom specifically bats and reptiles. 
 

In 2014 I started shooting riders on the open road, mainly the Old Pacific Highway north of Sydney and through that I scored a few gigs with BikeMe and Australian Motorcyclist Magazine shooting road test photos for them. After a bit of a break, OK several breaks including ribs and collar bone, I switched from shooting road to shooting race events and, in the space of three years, managed to get enough of a profile to earn media accreditation for some of the bigger events including Australian Superbikes, The Island Classic, International Festival of Speed, World Superbikes and MotoGP and FIM Endurance World Championship.

I've been lucky enough to shoot some product launches including the Yamaha R6, Moto Guzzi V7II and Metzeler CruiseTec tyre and hopefully I'll get the chance to do some more of those in the future as they're quite an interesting challenge. Right now I'm a regular shooter for BikeMe, Kiwi Rider and RetroBike and a contributor to a number of other national and international publications. Bikes will remain the focus for the foreseeable future but I am looking to diversify into four wheeled motorsport and completely unrelated areas including soccer and volleyball. Variety is the spice of life hey!

I've been a rider a lot longer than I've been a photographer and although I never seem to have enough time to get out as much as I'd like to, I still ride regularly. Below are my two bikes. On the left, 'Retro' a 1997 CBR900RR-V FireBlade that I've had since new and on the right, 'The Tractor', my 2010 Speed Triple 1050. They're a nice duo to have and I can't see myself parting with them any time soon.
